Summer Learning Journey Day 5 Activity 2

On your blog, write a letter to your best friend or a family member telling them about your trip to the tundra. To earn full points your letter must have a greeting (eg. Dear…) followed by 5 – 6 sentences of information about what your experience

 Dear: Rheanne

 I had a nice trip to Tundra and it was freezing cold. I'll tell you about it. At first I was amazed about everything I saw. There were animals that I have never seen before, like a Reindeer.

It was like in Antarctica. It was so amazing I hoped you were there to see all of the cool stuff there. The place I stayed in, was very comfortable.

    Mōrena Venice,

    You have done an amazing job following the letter format by having an official greeting and an ending. It is important to remember these when we are writing a formal letter so ka pai!

    I was able to picture how freezing Tundra would be by reading your letter. Maybe next time you could include a short description about the place you stayed in. How did you manage to keep yourself warm from the freezing cold air? Did you have lots and lots of blankets?
