We have been learning about creepy crawlies around the world. This time we are learning about our native insects. We had to search and research to find 3 native insects. We had to make a google drawing about the three native insects we found out about. We had to be with a buddy. My buddy is Talisa. We had a map and we had to find out where they mostly live in New Zealand. We had a map and we pointed out where they lived. Then in the slide for each of our three native insect we had to have at least five facts about. Then we had to choose what native insect we were going to make and how we would make it. Me and Talisa decided to do the giraffe weevil because we wanted to make a long neck. We haven't finished our final copy but I hope we will finish it next week.

Hello Venice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to find out about the wonderful and amazing insects that we have in our own back yard/country.
I didn't think we had katipo spiders in New Zealand.
Aren't they poisonous/deadly?
