On Wednesday Get Wise ASB visited our school. Her name was Amy. She told us how to save money. The word CASH meant something about saving enough money and buy what you wanted. C was for clear, you had to make sure you know what your saving for. A is for action you have to figure out how to save money by doing something for some people. S is either for spending or saving. You can spend but you have to also save the money. H is for how long will it take for you to achieve your goal. Then we played a game. We had to be in groups. My group was called Banana-man. Each group had a goal to buy and had to know how much it was. If the 100 dollar note was had up we had to be quiet. The first two groups to be quiet as possible get a one dollar coin. The money was only pretend. Our goal was to buy a hamster for $300. Then we had to figure out how we would receive money by doing something for people. Our group decided to walk peoples dogs to earn money. The other team next to us heard what we were talking about. We had to be mimes and act our what we were doing to save money. It was quite fun. The group who had the most coins won. We had 7 coins same with the other group. The two other groups had 9 and the other group had 5. The people who had $9 had too verse by doing paper scissors rock. The group who won was the group with girls.
