New Poem Writing

Hello Readers, We made two poems, they are quite interesting.  This two poems are called Limericks and Tanka. Limericks is about the rhyme not the syllables.

Tanka has five lines. It goes 5, 7, 5, 7 and 7. Those numbers represent how many syllables each line needs to be. About Tanka we had to write about spring, a pet, and a family member.  I don't have a pet  though.

On limericks it also have five lines. It wasn't about the syllables. It was about the rhyme. It goes long long short short long. The line that is suppose to be long needs to have the same rhyme. The one that is suppose to be short the end of their sentences needed to rhyme.
