Shaping up - What I know so far πŸ“šπŸ“πŸ“

 Hello everyone.

For the past few week in maths we have been learning about geometry. Our class got formed into 4 groups. The groups are called, pizza, nacho, waffle and chocolate. These groups were named like this because of the shapes they normally form. For example a pizza is a circle. 

My group, chocolate has been learning about 2d shapes, 3d shapes and names of shapes. When talking about 2d shapes we have been figuring out why they are 2 dimensionals. 2d shapes must include width and height. For example a 2d shape could be a circle, a square, a rectangle, a triangle, etc. We also have been describing some shapes. For example: a square has 4 equal sides and 4 equal angles.
A 3d shape has 3 dimensionals, height, width and length. On 3d shapes our group has been currently working finding the same relationships between two shapes.
