Activity 19 Spring Learning Journey

Hello everyone, for this activity of spring learning journey I have to design or make my restaurant on a google drawing. I had to make a menu and decide what will be the food that will be presented for the costumers. I chose Filipino foods because I like eating Filipino foods.

Spring Learning Journey Activity 13 🎂🍦

Hola everyone, this is activity 13 of Spring Learning Journey. For activity 13, it asks me would I rather never eat cake again or never eat ice cream again. I choose to never eat cake again because it's too much sweet and others kind of tastes bad. Ice cream is also sweet but cold. I think the coldness makes it so that its not too sweet.

Spring Learning Journey Activity 1

Hello Everyone, Today We are starting to publish Activities of spring learning journey. This is activity one.  For this learning journey our topic is about "Food". For the first activity, we have to name 10 different healthy foods we haven't ate before.

A Big Breakfast 😋🥐

Hello everyone, this morning we had a great breakfast because we have been on time at school this term.

There were jam, croissant yogurt and fruit. It started at 8.30 we had to put bags away and then come back at the lunch tables. Then we had to line up and then through the bike stands and then to the gym. I took a croissant with jam in it, I also got a yogurt. I didn't wanted to get a fruit. I had a hard time finishing my yogurt because I hadn't taste any yogurt for ages.

Disco! 🎉😃

Hello readers, last time I posted a blog post about the school disco coming. This is a blog post of what happened.

There were a lot of songs being heard. Some of the songs were popular to us so some of us sang along to the song. I was with my friends, we had so much fun. Everybody was dancing and having fun. At the very start there was a lot of people pushing and shoving, to get glow sticks at the school disco shop. There was also a photo booth. Me and my friends went to the photo booth we also get to have accessories to wear. When the disco ended we had to leave with an adult or family member.  Between me and my friends I was the lat one to get picked up. It was so much fun. I kept on getting glow sticks and chips.

100 word count Writing 👍

Hello readers, Today i'm going to show you my 100 word count for week 9. Its suppose to have this word in it  "then everything stopped". I made the story kind of scary.

Here it is:

I was walking with my friend. We were happy because we got the new book. We didn’t notice it was nighttime. We got to the park and got separated. I suddenly saw someone coming from the dark. It approached me and yelled “YOU’RE DEAD!” First I thought it was just my friend but then when he got closer, I knew it was no joke. I ran as fast as I could trying to think he wouldn't catch up to me. I tripped and moved backwards trying to move away from the killer. Then everything stopped and I collapsed.

Disco! 😀

Hello everyone, we will be having a school disco tonight. Hopefully I make another blog post about what happened in the disco. I already had my disco ticket. I hope I have a great day. Tracing a Logo 😮

Hello everyone, The techie group worked with Miss Morgan again. We had to choose what logo we get. The logo's were a google document logo, the blogger logo, google form logo, google slide logo and lastly the screencastify logo.

I got the last one which was the screencastify logo. We had to create a google drawing so that we were able to colour it. We had to get a photo of the logo we got. we had to choose a tool. I chosed the poly line tool. It was quite hard.Then I had to colour it in.

How to make a good screencastify 😀

Good day everyone, today I will be showing you how to make a good screencastify. This is last week's cyber smart i'm just finishing it. There were five tips about making a good screencastify. 

The first one is "short but incredible", this means your video should be between 30 sec - 2 min long. The second one is "face in the frame", this means your face must be inside the frame at all times. I didn't put the webcam for my screencastify though, The third one is "Face the Camera" this means you should be looking at the camera. The last tip is "Speak clearly" it means that you should not talk in a quite voice. 

Those are all the 5 tips of making a good screencastify.

Writing an Expsition About Sports

Hello everyone It's me again. Our class did an exposition about sports being less competitive. Firstly I wanted it to be the same as it is but then after a few reasons from everyone I decided to make an exposition abut sports being less competitive. Some people might disagree with me but hear my reasons first.

Here is my writing about sports being less competitive.

Less Competitive

I think sports should be less competitive so it’s more fun.
My other reason is so that the team won’t argue if the other team scored a goal.
The other reason is not bragging about who won or lost.

Fun is so important  while playing sports. If you don’t have fun you won’t be that
convinced to play. When you lose you feel ashamed but if it's for fun, it's an equal
score for both teams, nobody wins nobody loses. 

My second reason is about arguing if the other team scored. Your team will
always argue with the goalie or  with your teammates about not doing their
hardest. The team would think less of themselves.

Lastly is teams bragging when they won.  When you win a game you
would be cheering and hugging and telling everyone that they did well.
Some people are always bragging about how they win, sometimes they would
sing a great song about them winning.

Those are the reasons why I would want sports to be less competitive.
I am still sticking with my reasons, they were about having fun,
no arguing and no bragging. I think it would be great if sports were less competitive.

100 Word Count For This Week 👍

Good day everyone, this is a blog post about my 100 word count. We actually have been doing 100 word counts for a long time, I just didn't want to make a blog post about it but here I am making one. So 100 word count writing is about a story with completely 100 words. Our teacher gives us a category each week about how the story would be told.

For this week it's about this picture. It looks like a statue.

 

Here is my writing about it: 

There were two young men staring at the early sunrise of winter. They were standing at two
flat rocks and they were wearing ancient coats. The brothers thought they were cool with the
coats. Suddenly during the beautiful sunrise, a green light was flashing at them. Since they
were the only ones awake, they got turned into hard stones because of the green light. They
were frozen for eternity. Centuries after that incident their families have been taking care of
them, cleaning and polishing them. They now call them, the two brother statues. They now
stay at a valuable place.

I use this tool to make sure it's 100 words. I know it looks short but I'm sure it's 100 word.

My Cool Maze (Llama and Doughnut)

Hello everyone, I have been working with the techie group with Miss Morgan and we have been making mazes.

First we had to change the characters. The characters could be animals, people or things. We had to choose two characters. The first character must go to the other character. Then we had to make a backdrop. We also added some traps. if you touched them you go back where you started.

I think i made the backdrop harder. Then we started to create the code. It was cool. I made it say something when it touches the doughnut.

Hello everyone. Since we had been working on our poem writing, I made my own poem. I used a Limerick, Acrostic and a Quatrain. I also made a positive poem.  The poems were just for fun.
