We had to be in groups of two. One group had to be in 3. I went with Sonnie because she was away. We had to choose which God or Goddess we want to work on. I chose The God Horus. I did all the work because My group mate was Sonnie and she was pretty much away for a long time. Our teachers shared a slideshow with us. We had to get a slide in that slideshow. We were able to get facts by searching up in google or going to Kiddle. After we had done our slide we had to draw our God or Goddess on a piece of paper. It was pretty hard to do. We had to colour it in pastels.
Here is what is looks like:

Buddy Class Book:Fing
Our classroom and our buddy class (Room 1) has been reading The book called Fing. Fing is about this girl called Myrtle who wanted everything. For her birthday she wanted a Fing. Both his parents didn't know what a fing was. We have done a few activities about Fing. We made puppets and answered questions. Another activity we did was imagining what punishment you would do if your parents didn't follow what you did. Another activity we did was we made weird monsters. ME and my buddy, Lyah made a weird monster called Unidog. He is part dog, part unicorn. He uses magic and poops rainbow poop. If you step on his poop you will probably explode to pieces.

Computational thinking with Miss Morgan
Just now miss Morgan and 5 students has been doing algorithm. We did step by step instructions. Those 5 students was Aaron, Tory, Jhrnylle,Celine and me. We got into groups. Celine and Jhrnylle were groups. Me, Tory and Aaron were in a group of three. First we made an instruction about how to make a toast. Then after that one of our teammate had to write the instruction of the other person who were saying the instructions to the person who is acting like a robot. I was the person who was telling the instruction and Tory was the one who was doing the instruction I said. Aaron was the one writing the instruction i said. It was hard for Aaron because I kept on saying "Wait its wrong its wrong." He had to delete some of the stuff he wrote. It was also hard for me because Tory and I couldn't understand each other. We had to do it on lego we were building something it was hard for me to memorise the figure but good thing we could take a look again. First i was confused but it was alright afterwards.
Here are the instruction we wrote the Lego one is a bit wrong:

Winter sport!! 😃
Last Friday at lunch times the senior went to winter sports including me. Last term we chose what sport we were going to play. we were all separated to teams. I played hockey. Their were 5 sports to choose from. Their was Football/Soccer, Netball, Hockey, Rugby and Basketball. Football/Soccer had two teams. Netball had three teams. Hockey had two teams. Rugby had 2 teams as well. Basketball had three teams. When the second lunch bell rang we lined up on our teams on our court. We were the last one to leave from the court because we had to check if we had all the gear we needed. Two people from hockey forgot to pay their sports bond so they were be watching us play. Before the game started we did a bit of practices and training. The player of the day for the hawks was Celine. The player of the day for the eagles was Renz. Our scores were 1-4 we lost. Usually I would go up at attack. It was my first try of winter sports so I knew I tried my very best to win a goal. The two teams of hockey was The eagles and the hawks. I was part of the eagles. The hawks won by 5-0.

Making Canopic jars! 😀
We have been making Canopic jars for our Ancient Egypt topic. Canopic jars are jars where you put internal organs of a mummification. Those organs are lungs, stomach, intestines and liver but we didn't really put these thing inside our canopic jars. We made the canopic jars a paper mache. We used scrap paper and news paper to make it. There were 4 different canopic jars. There was a jackal, a falcon, the person and a baboon. They have different heads. Each canopic jar protects each organ that they took out of a mummification. We were able to choose which canopic jars we would made. I decided to make a jackal since it was easy for me. Also our classroom has been working with Room 8 in our school. It has been fun working with them.

New Topic for This Term!
We have a new topic this term. We decided last term that our topic for term 2 would be about ancient Egypt. We had already done 3 activities that relate to ancient Egypt in one week. We learned information about ancient Egypt by watching a video. We had cards that we had to match. We also had a slide that shows how pharaohs live and more other stuff. we also made a cartouche. We wrote our name on the cartouche. Egyptians believed that if there name was written on a cartouche they would live in the after life. In ancient Egypt there weren't any letters before so letters were made by pictures. Only some people had learnt how to write.
