Activity 2:

I searched up 'Milo of Croton' and the first information I got was that he was a Greek wrestler.
Here are somersetting facts about him:
He was famous for carrying bulls on his shoulders.
Nobody knew when he died and how he died. They say that he was attacked by wolves.
He led the people of Croton to a military victory held at the city of Sybaris next to there city.

Instead of a leaf and crown, what do you prefer to wear to shows you're the winner?
Hi Venice.
ReplyDeleteMilo of Croton must have been very strong to carry bulls on his shoulders. What do you think the world would have been like to have lived in the same time as Milo of Croton? I think I would prefer to have a medal, as a leaf crown would wither and die. I would like to have something to keep for ever and that I could pass on to my family.
I am looking forward to getting back to school work. I'll see you in a google hangout soon.
Hello Miss Scott, thanks for commenting.
DeleteIf I lived in Milo of Croton's time I think it would be very busy around. I think girls would've had to do all the chores since on Activity 3, girls weren't allowed to compete or even watch the Olympics. Again, thank you for commenting. Bye.
Hello Venice. It's great to see you using your chrome book during lock down.I wish more children would do that.
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked in the shearing shed,I used to have to drag out sheep and I found that a struggle.I don't know how I would manage to carry a bull.I would need to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger.Do you know who he is?.
I would like something simple that I could wear around my neck. That way I could carry on doing what I like and it wouldn't fall off.
What would you like to show you are the winner and why?.I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello Mrs Cassidy.
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog post. No, I don't know who that person is, though I want to know about him. I think a medal and a flower crown would be the best for me to wear to represent that I am the Champion. Thanks again for commenting. Bye.
