Cloze Activity 'The healer's apprentice'

Hello everyone, today's blog post is about my cloze activity. A cloze activity is a short part of the story that has blank spaces that you need to fill in.You have to fit in each blank with a word at the side. After you have fit in all the words and then wait for the teacher to mark it. There are words at the side to fill in each blank.

Here is what it looks like.

'Woman Were Not Allowed' Activity 3

Hello everyone, this is activity 3 of Olympics work.
Activity 3:
During the ancient Olympic Games, men were allowed to compete in the events but women were not. In fact, women were often forbidden from even watching the games. In your opinion, is this a fair rule? Why or why not? On your blog please tell us what you think about this interesting rule.

My opinion:
I think this is not a fair rule because boys shouldn't be the only one competing. If this rule hasn't changed then we couldn't have really great female Olympic athletes. My other problem with this rule is that boys are not the only ones with talent. Everybody has a great skill in their own way. I think girls should've had an opportunity to be able to watch or compete in the Olympics.

What do you think about this rule?

Here are somersetting facts about him:
He was famous for carrying bulls on his shoulders.
Nobody knew when he died and how he died. They say that he was attacked by wolves.
He led the people of Croton to a military victory held at the city of Sybaris next to there city.

Olympics work Activity 1

Hello everyone, since school has shut down I have been working on my homework. We have been given some blogging activities. The blogging activities are about Olympics since Olympics is suppose to come soon but I think its cancelled. Here is some information first before, we get to what activity one is about.
Fun Fact: The first ever Olympic Games were held in Olympia, Greece in 776 BC.
Our Olympic Journey starts thousands of years ago in a place called Olympia. Olympia
was an ancient city in the country of Greece.

The ancient city of Olympia was the site of the first ever Olympic Games. They were
held in 776 BC. During these games, men from Greece were invited to participate in one
or more of the following events – running, jumping, discus throwing, wrestling, boxing,
pankration, horse and chariot races, and the pentathlon. The ancient Olympic Games
came to an end in 393 AD, approximately 1000 years after they had first started.
Here is activity one:
Activity 1: Let’s imagine that you were alive 2796 years ago and invited to compete in
the first ever ancient Olympic Games. Which of these events: running, wrestling, boxing,
pankration, horse racing and pentathlon would you compete in? Click here to read more
about each of the sports. On your blog tell us which sport you would choose and why
you chose it.

I prefer doing the stade running where I would sprint to the other side. I think stade is
easier because I just have to ran to the other side. I think wrestling and boxing is too
dangerous and it is possible I would get injured.

Though I would like to try doing the javelin.

I think that will be all.
